Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

I make this bread frequently to have on hand for company, and to bring wrapped in a bow as a gift when visiting friends for dinner, or when an appropriate occasion arises.

Ingredients
1 cup sugar | ½ cup butter | 2 eggs |

2 cups flour | 3 large or 4 small ripe bananas | 1 tsp baking powder |
1 tsp baking soda | 1 tsp vanilla | 1 cup mini morsel chocolate chips |
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and beat.
- Add ripe, mashed bananas.
- Add vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients.
- Add chocolate chips.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour – use toothpick to test. It should come out clean.
- Makes one loaf. Smaller baking loaf pans can be used to make smaller loaves and may require less time time for cooking
