Homemade Pork Dumplings

I love Asian food and love, love, love dumplings!

Servings: 30 Cultural Connection: Chinese

Ingredients

1⁄2 lb ground pork 1 cup cabbage 1⁄2 cup green onion
1 tsp grated ginger 1 tsp chopped garlic 3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil Dumpling wrappers

 

Instructions

  • Combine the ingredients for the filling. Mix well.
  • Scoop a spoonful of the filling into each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edge of the wrapper with a bit of water and fold the wrapper in half. Pinch the wrapper in the middle, and then fold it over on each side.
  • Fry, steam, or boil your sealed dumpling.
  • For the sauce, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili paste in a small bowl, to taste.
